SINGAPORE, 30 JULY 2012: The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) held its 30th Annual General Meeting this evening at the Jalan Besar Stadium with the Council members, sponsors, club representatives and members of the media in attendance.
Touching on various highlights of the organisation through the financial year 2011, FAS presented these events through a video presentation and a newly designed Annual Report (Jan 2011 – March 2012). FAS president, Mr Zainudin Nordin spoke at length on the Strategic Plan 2010 -2015 and its implementation progress as they move into the second half of the plan.
He said “As we move into the second half of the implementation of the FAS Strategic Plan, we will continue to work closely with our members and stakeholders, in pursuit of our objectives, as envisaged in our plan.”
He went on to speak on areas concerning youth development, referees, S.League and the National Football League covering on the work that has been done thus far, as well as the achievements over the past year and how more is being planned in key result areas.
He then concluded the AGM by saying “There are exciting times ahead for Singapore football although I should add that we must continue to persevere and overcome perennial challenges and constraints. I am confident that with our continued hard work and perseverance, coupled with strong support from our stakeholders, Singapore football will continue to progress.”

Having gone through the "checklist", I somehow felt there are some pretty weak arguments to back itself up on some issues (or just myself having that thoughts?).
ReplyDeletewhy pple would wana waste their time to listen to this head talkin " singapore soccer is in for a excitin time we are achievin our goals"?? ...big joke puttin a stupid national team in Mleague at the expense of a failin sleague.. why not i suggest to make it more excitin by puttin the national team in the sleague since the national team failed time and again in the Asian stages and now what in in mleague??..i think puttin national team in the sleague and targettin sleague title is attainable and more realistic lah...
