adidas recently launched the "Extreme Power" series of toiletries
Sounds cool? Here is the chance to make it a reality by signing up in first ever adidas Extreme Power 5’s, a regional futsal competition for participants from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.

The tournament is jointly organized by Coty Asia Pte Ltd, franchise owner of adidas fragrance and body care products, and the brand’s local distributors including Kay Ess Enterprises Pte Ltd in Singapore.

Alongside with this newly launched fragrance by the sporting giants, the objective of this tournament is to mirror "the thrill and athleticism of futsal" as showcased in the 11-aside version of the game.

French legend Zinedine Zidane
Said Vikki Wong, General Manager of Kay Ess Enterprises:“The association between adidas body care and football has always been present, especially now with our ambassador and football legend Zinedine Zidane.

"Futsal, being a popular sport among urban youths, became a natural fit for the event.”

With attractive prizes in store, the tournament is expected to draw more than 100 teams across the region before culminating in an awe-inspiring regional showdown in Singapore before a grand champion is crowned.

Local Eliminations
Starting from May, over two days, the five-a-side tournament will be held in the three countries, all of which have had a close affinity with football and a strong following in the sport of futsal. In Singapore, the local eliminations will run on June 9 and 10 at SAFRA Tampines.

Recruitment begins in Singapore on April 15 and interested teams can sign up by emailing to terry@urbanstreeteam.com.

The registration fee for each team is S$80 (for the first week) and S$100 (April 22 onwards).

Each registered team will consist of up to seven players: 5 players and up to 2 reserves. The competition is open to only non-professional players between the ages of 18 and 40.

Regional Finals in Singapore
In each of these three countries, two top teams will continue on to the regional finals to be held at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza in Singapore on June 23 from 11am to 6.30pm.

The event is open to the public free of charge.

All six teams will compete in a round-robin tournament, in which the top four will compete for the title of grand champion.

In between matches, spectators will be treated to nifty freestyle football displays by Urban Street Team (UST) and quizzes where they can win great prizes from adidas body care.
