With this agreement, the Japanese apparel supplier will be providing the outfit for the White Swans from season 2013 on a four-year deal.
Speaking to the media, Albirex Niigata (S) chairman Daisuke Korenaga hopes the partnership will open up a new channel to Japanese companies as a platform to venture market outside the Land of Rising Sun.

Formed in 2000, "Gol." has actively involved itself in supporting football actives in kids and students level back in Japan, according to Mr Takayuki Ashizawa, president of Gol. Japan Co., INC, who was alongside with Mr Korenaga during the announcement.
"Other than those programmes, we also support other football actives such as beach football and freestyle football." revealed Mr Ashizawa.
"Being our first sponsorship outside Japan, we have not set specific target in aspects such as merchandise sale, although we are targeting other markets like Thailand in the future after this." added Mr Ashizawa.

Also at the same event, the new home jersey of Albirex Niigata (S) for the upcoming season was revealed to those in attendance, and fans can look forward to see more of “Gol.” merchandise on sale during the Japanese club's home matches at Jurong East Stadium and at the team's clubhouse from next year.
Another novelty by the Japanese club, whose way of managing stuff on and off the field continues to set itself apart from the rest of the pack.
