  • Singapore Cup SF1: Gombak Utd 0-1 SAFFC 6/10/12
"Watch Out!!!"
The fear of the relapse of the chronic backache that has been bothering me, which I thought it'll be good for me to be seated when taking the shots.

Anyway, much to my surprise that I was able to shoot under the settings of ISO3200, 1/320-400 (pending where the action took place), f5.6 and that it seems the floodlights seems stronger.

Kari's penalty was deemed enough for the Warriors to see them through to the Cup final for the first time since 2008.

  • Singapore Cup SF2 - LM Sparks 0-3 Tampines Rovers 7/10/2012
LM Sparks star Phil Younghusband
"Ah Long" (Noh Alam Shah) made his first start since returning from Indonesia.

While he did not score in this match, but with the double from Alex Duric and a late strike from Imran Sahib, not only left the Filipinos empty-handed over the last few days, it also highlighted the strike depth the Stags have in its disposal.

The Stags will square off against its arch-rivals, SAFFC in a re-match of the 2007's Cup Final on 28th Oct.

  • Lions training in "Wild Wild West" 14/10/12
Did the boy dream of playing for the Lions when he grows up??
The AFF Suzuki Cup gearing up for the Singapore national team continues with the upcoming international friendly against the Indian national team on the 16th October at the Choa Chu Kang Stadium.

In order to allow the players to acclimatize on the natural turf surface, the Lions have been conducting most of their training sessions of late with venues like Geylang Field and were at the Jurong West Stadium this evening ahead the coming Tuesday fixture.

  • S.League - Home Utd 2-1 Tanjong Pagar Utd 18/10/12
Anthony Aymard got ahead of Fred Mendy for the ball
Absolutely gutted for the Jaguar for whom they thought they would walked away with a point and only to allow Jeremy Chiang's late winner to ensure Home Utd ended their last home fixture with three points in the bag.

  • Singapore Cup Final- SAFFC 2-1 Tampines Rovers 28/10/12
Contrasting Emotions with Erwan Gunawan's (no.13) late winner
So it was perfect farewell gift for departing SAFFC coach, Richard Bok, as the Warriors ended their trophy drought since 2009 with the clinching of the RHB Singapore Cup at the expenses of title challengers, Tampines Rovers at the Jalan Besar Stadium with a 2-1 scoreline.

The winning of the Cup this evening could be seen by some as the most significant achievement in Bok's coaching career.
