“I fell in love with the CTR 360 Maestri III the moment they first launched it. Being a professional footballer, I feel the CTR is superior in the cutting and design and it suits my feet nicely." said Singapore and Lions XII defender Baihakki Khaizan on the new Nike football boots he first wore in the recent Lions' 2-0 win over Hong Kong.

The completely re-designed CTR 360 Maestri III is for the player looking to dictate the tempo of a game.

Maestri – meaning Maestro in Italian – is the boot favored by midfield players who rely on innovative performance features to enhance their control of the ball, and therefore the game itself.

Innovations include a revamped 3D control pad that uses separate strips with fins of varying sizes to hug the arch and maximize contact with the ball, optimizing receiving and passing accuracy.

Furthermore, the revamped model is reengineered to deliver enhanced control, traction, support and lightweight comfort.

Using next generation Kanga-Lite synthetic material for an assured touch and durability, the new boot also features new All Conditions Control (ACC) technology, providing the same level of control in either dry or wet conditions.

"In the professional world of football, having a pair of boots that fits well is one of the key ingredients that allows us to focus on maximising our potential on the pitch. " added the former Geylang United defender, who is also joined by his teammate in both club and country, Shahdan Sulaiman in donning the new boots on the Jurong West pitch on that Wednesday night.

The CTR 360 Maestri III worn by the Lions duo is exactly the same model worn by some of the world's top footballers like FC Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta, Manchester City's Mario Balotelli and is now available at Weston Corporation Queensway for S$269.

  1. One thing that I don't like it is the color for everything else. Those are amazing shoes. Specially the design.
