Two goals from Ikhsan Fandi helped Singapore to beat their fierce rivals Malaysia at the National Stadium.
The BG Pathum United striker opened his account in the 30th minute by latched nicely to the ball centered in from Song Ui-young before doubled his tally in the 76th with a beauty in the box.
Substitute Liridon Krasniqi levelled the scoreboard in the 57th minute for the Harimau Malaya by capitalized on a Lions' defensive lapse in the game which Singapore should be more aggressive.
