Eye wide open for Danny
I was with Arthur, one of the ball boys, and a minder at my usual spot at the ground to see another defeat succumbed by our national team.

It is not a good thing to happen when we seems to forget how to win a game let alone to have a feel of it.

With just a game away, the team need to find the right formula to buckle the trend to avoid the embarrassment.

The "Battle of Masters" tournament was organized Masters Football which featured former star players from Arsenal, Liverpool FC and our very own Singapore legends.

The first match saw Arsenal Masters drew one-one with their Singapore counterparts before the latter lost five-nil to the Merseyside legends.

The final game of the night saw Arsenal and Liverpool concluded to a two-all that saw the Anfield veterans won the tournament with best overall result.

2017 - a year to be forgotten for Lions
Singapore National Team lost their AFC Asian Cup qualification right after losing 3-0 to Bahrain at the National Stadium. The result also meant the end of the wretched season for the four-time Asean champions without winning a single match in year 2017.
