Media Involvement

To this day, there were some tournaments and events, other than S.League (later Singapore Premier League), covered by this blog.

I worked in the capacity of a "reporter" in 2009 before opting for the "photographer" role in 2010.

"Sultan of Selangor's Cup"

An annual event organized by the Selangor State Government with the objective to foster a footballing relationship between Singapore and Selangor, two of the most successful sides in Malayan football history.

Datuk Soh was once recognized by FIFA as the most-capped player in international football history.

Covering the "PUMA SINGAPORE'S LOVE=FOOTBALL" event during the World Cup period in 2010

Made my presence felt at the "SOCCEREX Asian Forum"

This two-day event held in the Raffles City Convention Hall saw the presence of many of the game's luminaries in Singapore, such as AFC President Mohamed Bin Hammam, Former England captain Bryan Robson, ex-Spurs manager Ossie Ardiles, etc.

I met the KING on the 3rd of March 2011

This happened when Pelé, the man who is considered by many as the greatest ever footballer, signed on my notepad while during a photo shoot-out at the press conference to announce the launch of the partnership of New York Cosmos and Courts Young Lions during the legendary NASL club trip to Asia.

I also found myself involved in the "Canon Lion City Cup" as one of the "draw panelists" and during the tournament proper, I covered the event as a photographer (pictured above) for this blog and the related entries can be found via this link here.

I was being quoted in newspapers on several occasions on matters pertaining to Singapore football.

Gave my opinion on the disbandment of the Singapore national football team in Jan 2011, following the dismay Suzuki Cup performance in The Straits Times on 8th January 2011.


Sharing my thoughts after Singapore claimed its fourth Asean title in The Straits Times on 23rd December 2012.
