(Press release by the Singapore Recreation Club ) SRC Convener’s Cup 2010 Saturday 27th February 2010 @Padang, City Centre, Singapore (10am to 5pm) The Singapore Recreation Club will be staging the 2nd SRC Super Sixes Soccer Tournament 2010 on Saturday 27th February 2010 at 10am at the Padang. This is a soccer tournament for players aged 38 and above. The objectives of the tournament are to foster friendship within the soccer fraternity and encourage sports as an important part of a healthy lifestyle regime as well as a way of life. Up to 16 teams will compete for the SRC Convener’s Cup. Expect an afternoon of festivities, fun, excitement and action on 2 specially created Six-a-side soccer pitches on the Padang. Audience will also be encouraged to participate in some of the activities. Expect to see top players parading their skills on the Padang including the likes of Steven Tan, Abbas Said, Esad Sejdic, Tamil Maren, Marko Kraljevic and more.
