Slowing down a bit, without any choice...

Nope, it's doesnt spell the END yet, but it just that the desktop that has been serving me well till the wee-hours of this morning had decided enough is enough.. Yes it's gone most likely (given the typical lifespan of a desktop averaging FOUR years plus or so..) As such, I might have to slow things down a bit till everything is clear again (Sorry for the orientation of the clip, didn't realized it till it's late) Here's the symptom: Whenever I press the ON button, the CDRW's LED will remained permanent lit (as illustrated in the videoclip) and at the meantime, there's this "wizzle" sound generated from the CPU. Initially, I thought it's the CDRW that caused the problem, but having isolated it didn't solved the problem and the "wizzle" sound still remained. Only later, when I unplugged the power cable to my floppy drive ("A" drive), the "wizzle" sound is gone and concluded at that point might be the floppy dri

"Unfortunately"...

I recently came to realize how the word -"Unfortunate" is so versatile in addressing some knotty issues. So for this instance, I would say it's unfortunate for me to realize such appeal for this "that thing" case is successfully appealed Unfortunately, the accused was threatened to obey what his team manager ordered, if not, he will be send back home. But, unfortunately, the accused just don't have the guts to report this incident to the next higher level instantly and resulted this unfortunate incident to happen. What an unfortunate thing to happen.. really unfortunate.. :(

Update on Park Tae Won

Got an update from a friend, who managed to source that the wounded Park is already discharged from the hospital (as mentioned in the SMS snapshot below). a snap from "TODAY" depicted the situation then... Get well, Park.. we still desired to see that terror that rules the flanks..

Shame on you lot, for those guilty ones at Woodlands Stadium...

Yeah.. Shame on you lot!! Imaging an injured player currently fighting for his life now in the hospital, being subjected to some crude, low-class insulting remarks by some idiots at the stands. For those of you, who were guilty of making some remarks, you ought to be SHAME for yourself.. I certainly hope you aren't a parent of some kids, if not, you will definitely regret for what you did just now at Woodlands Stadium when the day come your kids make such remark on someone laying motionless on the ground. Credits to the stadium announcer and the relevant officers for calming down the situation.. May the injured player - Park Tae Won get well soon.. My sincere thoughts and regards to Park, his family and Woodlands Wellington FC.

It is a sad day

It is a sad day for football or the whole local sporting fraternity, if you do, as well, consider the ugly spat between shuttler Ron Susilo and his former fianceè Lee Jiawei. First, many fans have to resign to the reality that they will have to fork out more to enjoy top-notch football on television (personally, I don't consider terrestrial channels free either since there's the annual TV licence fee that tagged with your property tax, remember?) Blame for the small consumer size that we have that we are being charged at a rate we consider a "rip-off". In the spirit of the "free market", the MDA (the relevant authority) stand firm on its "non-intervention" policy, despite a huge public outcry. Yet, the sad thing is that they are still plenty of guys willing to pay that ridiculous subscription, just to meet their "temptation" (see the "cut-out"picture above). I'm sorry but I would say these lots are PATHETIC and I hope they a
