"The 5 Stadiums" - could be the ticket to ACL that saves the blushes

TNP broke the "5 stadiums" story on 20th March 2013 I'm not sure if the news that surfaced days ago brought a sign of relief to the game administrators in this country? I am pretty sure it did when The New Paper (TNP, pictured above) reported that five football-specific stadiums will be incorporated into the five Regional Sports Centres (RSC) around the island under the Singapore Sports Council's (SSC) 20-year master plan. As a matter of fact, something similar to these proposed five stadiums was also mentioned in the "Strategic Plan" (pictured below) alongside the NTC (National Training Centre) that are hardly being updated on their status progress, as compared to those achievements of the youth development and tied-up with other FAs in accordance to the "Plan". Something similar to the "The 5 stadiums" proposal With the announcement of the RSC proposal, it could mean the game administrators would not have to worry about

Vallee urging his Jaguars to remain focused after their comeback win against Hougang

GOAL! as Ismael Benahmed scored the winner Tanjong Pagar United reaffirmed its claim as the "surprise package" of the season with their comeback victory against Hougang United after the "Battle of Cats" saw the Queenstown outfit defeated their counterparts 3-2 at the Jalan Besar Stadium. Prior to this live televised match, the designated "visitors" were on a two-game win-less streak (losing to Home United three-nil after a scoreless affair against Harimau Muda) that somehow cast a doubt on whether they were hitting bad patches following a thumping 6-1 win over traditional powerhouses - Warriors FC in late February. To add salt to the wounds, the Jaguars had to deal with the Cheetahs onslaught with a makeshift center defence line with the absence of both skipper Hafiz Osman and Anthony Aymard and inevitably saw them conceded the first goal of the game in the 13th minute with a Robert Eziakor's header. Jaguars were struggled to contain Liam S

Martin "No-SHOW" and Zaiful's SHOW in Tampines win

Tampines coach Nenad Bacina Thought of having to take a better view of how Tampines Rovers' "Marquee Player" Martin Wagner would fare, after only saw him in action at the Charity Shield from a flat perspective. Unfortunately for the second game on the roll, the Argentine signing was left on the bench without having a role in the game at Clementi that saw the defending champions came from behind to record their first win in three recent outings against a resilient Balestier Khalsa. Speaking to the media after the 2-1 win, Tampines coach Nenad Bacina revealed Wagner is having some "adjusting" problems. Said the Croatian:"Martin (Wagner) is doing his job, but he is having some adjusting problems, especially in terms of communication with his teammates on the field as it's important when he is a midfielder, so as for now I would like him to see things more from outside (the field) and hope things will improve soon. "I think all the press
