DOUBLE ONE - Anuual Review 2007

I ran out of ideas when I wrote this annual review. A recap of some significant events in local football that occurred during these past months. We retained the Asean title (formerly the Tiger Cup) The 2007 S.League title race was a keenly-fought affair, with SAFFC emerging as the victors ahead of Home United and Tampines Rovers. Our clubs failed to progress beyond the quarter-finals of AFC Cup (again...) SEA Games - yes, we did achieve what AP HO asked for - medal of any colour, don't we? Just a pity we faced the Thais in the semis… You may want to ask what am I gonna touch on in this year's review? Read on... From a monthly updated site to opting for a more flexible approach offered by a blogging format, is the major transformation of the humble little site. The decade-long existence of BoLASEPaKO witnessed the "come-and-go" of many promising local football websites that closed down fast before it was able to stand on their own. It is all boiled down to passion, focus, and keeping within the means, that see this platform last to this day (which is something I am proud to say). FROM SITE TO BLOG

(the logo on the left commemorated the 9th anniversary of BoLASEPaKO) I made a decision months ago to convert this website into a blog. It came at a time when the blogging community is under intense surveillance from all corners, following some high-profile cases involving some bloggers over the sensitive remarks posted by them online. Nonetheless, always strive to do something constructive without getting myself into those unnecessary hassles, especially on the legal side of things. The reasons for having BoLASEPaKO convert into a blog are mainly because of the following. Better archiving of what l had said and commented (sometimes, have to crack my brain just to recall what l said) Cut down the time and hassle of uploading, and adjusting the layout of the site (with the Blogger, it has made things easy) So would like to shift the focus of the site rather for its layout and graphics to more on its contents.
