[Telegram Chat] - I AM JUST A PHOTOGRAPHER

Facing the "lobang" at Kallang

I still have that distraught feeling after the blunder that allowed India to level the game at the closing stages of it.

We did not utilise the numerical advantage since the early period of the second half.

The back pass that led to the Indian equaliser was secondary when Lions were guilty of not being more aggressive in the final third.

It was either we intended to hold the ball long enough to frustrate the Indian or we just couldn't find our way to break them down at their back.

Did the substitution in the second half played a part when some questioned the effectiveness of it?

I don't know? I am just a photographer.

ℹ️ For those unbeknownst, the abovementioned thoughts were from the AFC Asian Cup qualifying match between Singapore and India played on 9th October 2025 that ended in one-all draw.

  1. From my point of view...as much as I wanna blame Jordan...i will prefer to blame the coach for making some questionable decisions...i might not be a coach but I believe that every coach usually will try to take advantage of the extra man by putting in fresh attacking players to get the 2nd goal and then make the game safe....sub out Shawal (RW) for Hami (CM) when you have Farhan and Joel Chew on the bench...playing a CM at LB where he tends to move into central midfield or defence hence there is no overlapping fullback to support Glen (LW) while Shawal (RW) manage to get some support or options from Ryhan (RB)...this is just my humble analysis of the game and I might be wrong since I have no knowledge of being a coach...

  2. Can't Blame you Bro... Most of Us too, feel that we should have scored at least Another Goal , just to be sure, and to cushion the onslaught by the opponents. There's couple of half chances in the second half but our players unable to take it, now it's an uphill away task for the Lions. Just my humble opinion only 😁.

  3. Decision making skills. No leaders on the pitch to push. Gavin not making the effort to get his instructions across.

  4. Well next game ,we have to win at all cost ...put Jordan Emaview (sic) who badly needs to redeem himself partnering Irfan and Illhan as three forward ...stop the nonsensical Backpassing game . From fullback just long ball for our three forward to chase and score ...or even heading as India best defender is suspended...

The only positive out of this game is that there are still fans turning up for the match in this great Stadium.
