The Veterans match got off to a steady pace of both teams stroking the ball around. Touches of flare and brilliance entertained the fans, albeit a much slower pace. The Singapore Veterans got the first real chance of the match when midfielder, Rafi Ali attempted an audacious chip from outside the penalty box.
