RHB Singapore Cup Preliminary Round Fixtures announced

(Media Information by the Football Association of Singapore ) The Singapore Cup SINGAPORE, 04 May 2010: The Preliminary Round of the 2010 RHB Singapore Cup will take place from 24 May to 31 May, with the Young Lions kicking off this year’s campaign against Home United at the Jalan Besar stadium on Monday 24 May. Geylang United will begin their RHB Singapore Cup defence away to Balestier Khalsa at the Toa Payoh stadium on 25 May while debutants South Melbourne will take on Gombak United at Jalan Besar on Wednesday 26 May. This match will be shown ‘live’ on StarHub’s Football Channel and SuperSports Arena. In one of the most anticipated ties of the round, S.League Champions SAFFC will play hosts to last year’s finalists, Bangkok Glass on Thursday 27 May at the Choa Chu Kang stadium. Meanwhile, the Friday Night Live match will feature 2010 League Cup Champions Etoile FC, against Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Crown at the Jalan Besar Stadium on 28 May. 2010 RHB Singapore Cup Draw at Bt Panjang...

The RHB Singapore Cup draw was held at the Bukit Panjang Plaza on the Labour Day, a slight tweak in the draw venue which was held in the downtown areas in the past. Nonetheless, it was another day where local football fraternity get together for a cordial moment before later of the day they were being made know they'll be facing in this premier knock-out competition of local football.
